I've been using Rev on OS X for a long time. I haven't yet upgraded to 2.2.1 but I've been running 2.2 since its release. For the most part, my experience has been fairly trouble-free.

But in the past two weeks as I work on a more complex project than my previous ones, I'm finding that Rev absolutely freezes on launch and I ultimately have to re-install it. That's happened three times this week and twice last week. This seems excessive to me.

As a rule, it seems the launch process hangs at the point when Rev is loading menus and plugins. I've tried selective removal and re-insertion of various plug-ins without gaining any useful knowledge.

Needless to say, this has me pausing and wondering about the overall stability of the environment under moderate stress. I know I've read other messages here from time to time on the subject. What is your recent experience? Is this an anomaly I should try to track down to a specific combo of plugins and/or menu stuff? Or is this something I just have to learn to live with?
