I've build a program that has a user-window set to the screenrect. The right half of the window is scrollable. It would be useful if the user could move the window to the left so the left side of the window was off the screen, and then "grow" the scrollable part to the right (using the mouse to grow the window). This works fine under OS X. However, under Windows (2000-it's the only one I've tested), even if you move the whole window off to the left, you can't grow the window larger than the screen rectangle (which is what it was originally set to).

Is there a way around this? I assume this is a Window's limitation.
