I want to suppress it so that the user doesn't constantly see messages about saving a stack when it closes. I've run into a situation where I have a palette that contains a text field and gets updated plus some other changes and the save dialogue seems intrusive and out of context. If I could save surreptitiously I feel that would be better... Jim
