It's like a restaurant that serves one great main dish, with a broad range of choices available on the dessert tray.

It's worth noting that the only secondary lists that have had any longevity are those with a well-defined special purpose. Those that were created with the aim of being just another venue for general Rev discussion have fallen into disuse in favor of this one.
