weren't one thing: It uses SHA1 hashes, which runrev can't do natively. In other words you need to implement that too for it to work. Im mathematically disadvantaged, so someone else has to comment on the simplicity of SHA1.

Doesn't look too bad, and there is a sample implementation in C source code attached; someone might be able to simply translate that C code into transcript functions, or clean it up and package it as an external or something.
