I have worked some time now on true multilinguality in Postgres and Rev.
The challenge is
- to have a multilingual user interface (that's the easy part)
- to have multilingual content (that can be easy)
- to cope with "missing" languages (and this is really tricky)
- to integrate all this with Rev with a minimum of programming (this is tricky, too)
If someone out there on the list is fighting similar problems, I can post the solution. It requires very good understanding of procedural SQL, and Rev as well. Please let me know if you're interested; I'd love to share it in exchange to the help I found here; it's not for the faint at heart, though.
