Udi,

I don't think you made a mistake. I'd report this to bugzilla.

Is it possible that your problem is connected to the following bug?
<http://support.runrev.com/bugdatabase/show_bug.cgi?id=739>
In this bug, I've explained that a file cannot be opened by double-clicking a file in the Finder. If you think the two problems are connected, then please confirm and vote for it.

Best,

Mark

I made an application with MacOS 9. It support drag&drop on desktop.
I put the wild-card'****' in fileType so that it accepted all kind files.
And test script here..

on appleEvent theClass,theID
  request appleEvent data
  answer theClass & theID &return& it
end appleEvent

When the application doesn't start -
 when I drop a file on icon, the application starts and dialog appears.

But when the application starts already -
 when I drop a file on icon, the application activate and ...no dialog.

I'm working on MacOS9 and Rev2.1.2. What do I make a mistake in?
