I suggest this as an alternative to your way, have no clue why it
doesn't work for you the other way.
put the filename of this stack into MyPathWay
set the itemdelimiter to "/"
put "TJsettings.txt" into item -1 of MyPathWay
put URL ("file:" & MyPathWay) into field "settings"
