Many thanks to all of you who helped me with my last STANDALONE query. Of course you can use the Object Inspector to change a stack's mainStack property. How dumb can I get?
With new and complex software there's a tendency to go carefully - "Don't touch that, you'll break something!" And it's also hard at first to believe that in Revolution there is a simple way to do anything you want.
