Good thing you did not tell me that a few days ago. I would have
missed out on all kinds of fun figuring out how to do it the hard
way! But actually, I like the results of the way I did it. I tried
the revDocsGoToTopic command and it went all right, but it opened up
a new window for every click on a different property (amidst much
flashing of window graphics that hurts the eyes). Perhaps there is a
way to control this beast? If so, it would turn my script into a
couple of lines.

the same thing, but in less steps:
revDocsGoToTopic "colors and color references"
will take you to the Colors and color references topic of the
revdocs in the Topics section.
revDocsGoToTopic "mod"
Takes you to the Mod operator dictionary term of the revdocs in the
Dictionary section.
