Hi Devin,

Hi friends,
could a mac user running Tiger and a Core image capable graphics
card please test this script for me?

You can make a function of this and use it to check if you can use
the
new CI transitions in your stacks. In case the script works! ;-)
I ran your script on my 2004 iBook 1.07 GHz running 10.4.1 and the
script ran. The shell call returned the following:
...
Core Image: Not Supported
Main Display: Yes
Mirror: Off
Online: Yes
Quartz Extreme: Supported
Display:
Status: No display connected
</paste>
Notice it reports that Core Image is NOT supported. But here's the
kicker: I have successfully used Core Image transitions on this
machine, using the new Rev 2.6 capabilities. So there seems to be
an error in the information the SystemProfiler returns.
Nope, the system Profiler is right!
If the graphics cards cannot handle it, the CPU does (will try to do)
the computing!
I am sure the CPU usage will jump to at least 150% when you try that
transition ;-)
Try with bigger images!

Thank you all very much for testing!
"Poll" closed, script works :-)
