I see what you mean. I've also tried set the loc of button "button" to the mouseLoc as a mouseUp handler in a field with lockText set to true. Clicking outside the field clears the droppings, but repeated clicks within the field leave two edges behind... I wondered if it was something to do with mouseMove - but it ain't!
