I create a new stack, double clicked a graphic into it, clicked on draw and had it!
strange day... make sure: menu 1 is 3 first items selected menu 2 is "Back" make sure you're not drawing from to the same color... All I did was create an new stack in Rev, drag out a draw rectangle, then open GradientsNO2, change the colors and click Colorize. Nothing happened. Then I option-dragged another rectangle, selected them both, and clicked Colorize and they both got color. Try it for yourself...
