Joe, what you need is 'set the shadow of fld "myField" to false'. I
had forgotten there even was a shadow property - it's doesn't seem to
appear in the property inspector, but it exists nonetheless.

that field type?
Is there any way I can change away from that field type? I probably
have to
recreate all of them and transfer the data from my old HC Shadow
fields to the
new fields.
