Or rather, wxWidgets is a cross-platform, cross-language open-source GUI development library whose Windows incarnation is called wxWindows. Its Python incarnation is wxPython. Confusing. But it works very well. Not, I hasten to say, as quick or easy as Rev, anywhere near, though there are various attempts (Glade, Boa, PythonCard, etc) to make a layer on top of it.
