I had to go to each card in the stack and type 'place background "my group"
on this card' in order to get it there. It almost seems like the menu item
was doing a 'place group "my group" on this card' which only works if the
group is on the same card.
I'm not sure what is up with my IDE. I guess I should have exited
revolution and restarted it.

Copy and paste will create an entirely new group which is a copy of
the copied group. Place group is the way to go if you've already
created new cards before creating the group. I wonder what's
preventing it from appearing. Are there other objects which could be
obscuring it? It seems to work reliebly here, which is not much help,
I know :)

Now I'm confused with groups. I have a group I have put on all my
cards. It has isBackground checked. I have a check box the
group. If I edit the script for the check box on one card,
shouldn't it be updated on the other cards?
I guess if you copy and paste the group it creates a new instance?
Why does "Place Group" sometimes not work? I go to a new card and
try to place my background group but it doesn't appear.
