Just for kicks, I tried purchasing a TV show from Apple's current iTunes offerings. The m4v file plays fine in QT (requires 7.0.3) but attempting to play the file within Rev 2.6.5 results in "could not open movie file". If the player object relies on whatever version of QT is installed, shouldn't this work?
Playing a protected m4p music file with a player works fine, so I don't think the copy protection is the issue (but who knows). Any ideas?
