That was pretty much the problem back on the HyperCard list when Xavier's project was "XOS" and he posted frequently about it there. Many people downloaded it and took a look, but no one could figure out how it worked or what it was for, and so it didn't catch on. It needs clear examples, cleaner code, and a lot of documentation.
