Hi,

Getting the fontnames returns the name of Japanse (and Korean etc) fonts in what appears to be SJIS format and therefore unreadable as is.

These can be converted to unicode with the uniencode function. However, there is also an "english" name, viz. one that uses just the roman alphabet also associated with the font and can be read without uniencoding the name. This is shown in the font dialog displayed in TextEdit for example or in the Font Book.

Q. - Is there a way to access that name?
