You could also get a Mac, and save a ton of money on that anti-virus crap!
(never bought virus protection, never will.)
Doesn't it seem silly that you have to buy all those add-ons just to run your machine? And if it's required for operation, isn't that the job and duty of the operating system?

Firewall, AntiVirus, Anti-Spyware, Adaware, RootKit detection, and very judicious downloading are all highly recommended.

Wow, whenever I read that list, I always wonder if it's worth it.
