I found time to do a test. Setting the cursor to "hand" works okay for me in a standalone as long as I make sure to include the cursors in the standalone settings dialog before building. Choose "Standalone settings" from the File menu, uncheck the default option that automtically looks for resources to include, and instead manually include the ones you need. Make sure the "cursors" checkbox is selected, since it isn't checked by default. Also include any other libraries or dialogs you need from the two scrolling fields, then build the app. You shouldn't have any problems if you do it this way.
