Yeah, But we can do tabbed buttons!!! That's so cool.
We could of course roll our own, and you are right there are some problems, but at least they work across platforms.

And every reference seems to use a switch or something to recognise the tab that was clicked based on the *visible* text. Sometimes a cardname = tabname trick is used.
