I think it has to do with how Revolution is saving the videoClip to disk before it plays it. When you import a videoClip Revolution stores it inside of the stack file. When you play the videoClip Revolution saves that data to a file on disk and then loads it into a player object for playback. There seems to be an issue with how that data is being saved to disk. Wrapping the file up in a .mov container helps make things right for whatever reason.


Thanks. This doesn't affect playing audio mp3 files from disk using the player, correct?
