One problem I happened upon recently. Newer versions of MySQL encode user passwords differently from older versions. But RunRev seems to work only with the older encoding format.
I can't recall whether its 4.1 or some other 4.x version that differs from MySQL 5 in this (sorry, right now I'm away from the machine were I installed MySQL), but I do recall that it was a 4.x version and that, after looking around in the RunRev archives and MySQL documentation, the solution that enabled my RunRev stack to connect with databases was to reset all user passwords to an older pre-5.x format. Very much new to MySQL, Nicolas Cueto _______________________________________________ use-revolution mailing list [email protected] Please visit this url to subscribe, unsubscribe and manage your subscription preferences: http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-revolution
