converting a standalone back to a stack?

Is this possible? What I want to do is to capture some code that I  
thought I'd never need again that only exists in a standalone. Other  
than opening the standalone contents with a text editor and searching  
for the script, is there a way to just convert the standalone back to  
a stack?
