Well I have the same problem form time to time and I have 1.8 g5 with 1

mentioned.

Yes, the fact that saving, quiting, and restarting Rev clears the problem
would suggest that it isn't simply a text smoothing issue but that processor
cycles are being wasted somewhere.

How often do you save your work? I am rather a paranoid saver, a result of
earlier versions of Rev I worked with that seemed to crash all too
frequently (for any new users reading Rev is now MUCH MUCH better). I save
after EVERY 'Apply' script. I save after EVERY modification to an object's
properties.i.e. I'm saving every couple of minutes and sometimes a couple of
times a minute. 'Enter'..CMD+S, 'Enter'..CMD+S, I think I do it in my
sleep;-)

With Rev 2.2 and earlier I use to get what you describe, and solved it by
the same way - Quit then start again. But I had a 333MHz machine back then
and hadn't developed my current paranoid saving strategy.

Keep looking, there's got to be a reason:-)
