Hi Greg, In terms of training, the channel is FILLED with product that definitely is not delivered by way of a browser at all, though they may incorporate Quicktime video playback (just like Revolution does). One problem with developing a "standard" browser plugin is that there are still multiple browsers out there, and multiple versions of those browsers, and supporting them can be a nightmare. There are reasons for using different tools that depend entirely on your project. There are downsides to delivering a media message directly through a browser as compared to a "heavy client" like Revolution - again, the number of downsides depends on the details of your project.
