Thanks for that. So, in order to attach Revolution to MIDI in QT do I
use the AppleScript commands (if there are any...) or am I blowing the
wrong trumpet here?

Yep, Midi playback in Rev relies on QuickTime.
That's why you do not find any references in the docs.
