I've thought about turning on the vGrid, but although it solves the
problem for the tables it puts visible lines through the blocks of
plain text.
I may just have to go with breaking the text into multiple fields,
but this is a last resort as it would greatly complicate the
architecture of the software.
Any suggestions welcome....
I think the usual way of handling this is just to set the color of the
grid lines to the same color as the field background (usually white).
The grid colors are based on the bordercolor, I think, but I always
have to fiddle around until I find it so I'm not sure about that.
I think we're looking at different problems.
My field has text like this:
Lots of plain body text. Lots of plain body text. Lots
of plain body text. Lots of plain body text. Lots of
plain body text. Lots of plain body text.
Table Data Table Data Table Data
Table Data Table Data Table Data
Table Data Table Data Table Data
Lots of plain body text. Lots of plain body text. Lots
of plain body text. Lots of plain body text. Lots of
plain body text. Lots of plain body text.
If I have the grid lines visible at all, they'll show across the blocks
of body text in the field.
I get it now. Can't you just separate the table data with tabs on those
particular lines?
