And doesn't t his underscore a very interesting thing about the way Americans have come to think about personal responsibility? If I purchase something that I know will eventually be a problem to get rid of, isn't that my responsibility and not the manufacturers to make sure there is a way? When did we come to think it was the manufacturer's PRIMARY responsibility and not the consumer's? And btw, did anyone ever see what they did with the spent nuclear fuel for the Delorean in Back To The Future?
