The 'mode' is the key... you can switch between 'select grouped' ON, which means that the individual controls, etc are activated, or 'select grouped' OFF, which means the group is activated, then you can turn on 'edit group'. > 2 Any ideas on how to ungroup the objects? 'select grouped' OFF + activate + 'edit group' ON Or use the inspector palette popup menu to select the group you want. Using the inspector is a more precise way to locate a particular group if you have more than one and they are layered. Also get in the habit of using the Application Browser to see how the groups are nested and what objects are in each group.
