Hi Chris,
Are you sure that the server is running? Use a capital L, it might
help (it does for ftp). If the server is indeed on port 3306, you
don't need to specify the port because it is the default. What is the
exact syntax you are using? I didn't have any problems connecting to
a MySQL server, it worked rightaway.
Best,
Mark

Hi all,
I'm having a problem. Using the revOpenDatabase function, the docs
say that you can specify a port number by specifying the host,
followed by a colon, followed by the port number. So something like
"localhost:3306". Is this correct? Because I've tried it and I get
an error "Unknown MySQL server host 'localhost:3306' (1)".
Has anyone used this and made it work? I need to figure out a
solution for this asap.
Thanks,
Chris
