So I've started a UUID library, but I have a question, that is not
entirely specific to it.
For a time-based UUID, it needs to maintain a single number in a file
on disc. This file would be called something like
'libuuidclocksequence'.
What I need to figure out is where such a file should be kept on the
various OSes. For the moment, on my mac, I'm using the prefs folder,
which is fine, but maybe there is a better choice?
Any ideas?
