I'd love to be able to do this one in RR, because there will be a significant amount of parsing, and chunk expressions are SO perfect for that.
One possibility is to generate a DLL (if this is on Windows) that has the Jet Engine interface built into it. I'm not knowledgeable about building plugins for Rev, but Delphi, C++ Builder and Visual C++ can all do this (with the right custom libraries and they aren't dear). Then call the dll as a plug-in I guess...
