Hi fellas,

Thanks for all of your comments. I've decided it's just easier, and probably better and safer, to rebuild the entire menu from scratch. My biggest concern, really, is why it happened. I'm pretty darned sure that I never deleted anything - groups or otherwise; I was just doing some enabling and disabling of menus and menu items from the stack script with an OpenCard handler. I was having some naming problems and was not sure whether I eventually needed to test for the Platform in referring to the "things" as menus or buttons. It was after making a change in this type of statement that the disappearance occurred. Again, thanks...

Hi Me! Well that wasn't very productive. I'm not

we can do is "kind of" look at some stuff. Even if I

What ever? Just talking to myself!

Well, since you can't open two stacks with the same
name at the same time, you'd have to :
- copy it from the backup stack
- paste it into a temporary new mainstack (just in
case you have to do something in-between that may
modify the clipboard contents)
- close the backup and remove it from memory (you can
do this by right-clicking in the applicvation browser)
- open the current version of the stack and paste it
in there

As for the temporary stack, you can either never save
to the hard drive or keep it around as extra backup of
your menu structure ;-)
