Thanks Andre. As in most things, "context is everything". I'm at a bonehead level when it comes to Linux, so I can use all the help I can get.

Are those libraries you mention the .so files we read about here from time to 
time?

Hi Jeff,

When you say 'no graphics', do you mean you want a command-line interface only, or something else?

If CLI only, you can write a runrev script with a text editor, and start it out by turning off the GUI, by making line 1 of the script something like this:

#!<pathToRunRev> -ui
