I certainly can identify with that! :-)
It isn't a critical issue, except that I've prided my software in the
ability to fully uninstall itself, even the parts that the OS creates.

Yes. It's become trickier to achieve this.

shareware newsgroup on the net. I visit there sometimes, though not
nearly often enough.
