Thanks for the info Rishi. This is a great alternative since I don't
wish to use M$ products, but on occasion receive docs from others
that I find difficult to open; though AppleWorks works most of the
time. I'm looking forward to trying NeoOffice's drawing environment.

they find it is more logical and intuitive once you get used to it.
They also
find they are doing a lot of their internal work using NeoOffice's
native
file formats too, as the file sizes are much smaller.
