Well, it took me 15 minutes to work out:
let us suppose I have a stack with 1 card containing
an inage called "Z" and a field called "fHOLDER"
plonk the following script in a button:
on mouseUp
set the imageSource of char 1 of line 1 of field
"fHOLDER" to "Z"
revPrintField ("field" && fHOLDER)
end mouseUp
and everything works!
