I tried typing using the on-screen keyboard and it worked very well.
My fingers are not small.
As others pointed out, a standard stylus won't give the conductance
needed. However, I suspect that it won't take long for someone to
come out with an imitation finger as a stylus and will probably look
like the eraser end of a pencil.
Although after using my finder I'd say it works pretty well and isn't
something I'm likely to lose.
