Klaus, your trick worked to stop the transparency anomaly but didn't slow the GIF down to its programmed speed. Jacque, I'll try it out in Graphic Converter. Many thanks!!!

Graphic Converter. Works great and it's inexpensive. The trial is unlimited and free if you don't mind sitting through a delayed startup. The UI isn't as intuitive as it might be, but the output is compatible with Rev and works very well.
