Why does it matter? May be missing the point? There is still a plugin, you can still use it, no? Its still supported by who look like a competent team. What would the marketing message be, were one to try to exploit this?
On the implied issue in the background here, its not clear that RealBasic is the dangerous competition. At least, its not what would worry me most.
