  SCO Group files for bankruptcy

  SALT LAKE CITY - The SCO Group Inc., licenser of the Unix
  operating system, filed for bankruptcy protection Friday,
  drained by unsuccessfully filing lawsuits claiming its
  software code was misappropriated by developers of the
  open-source Linux operating system.
