The thing I'm wondering about is the issue of relative paths. Does changing
your default folder (defaultFolder) run the risk of causing a linked
external stack which is relative pathed to the application being "lost" to
the application? Are stacks that have been called but not visible on screen
safe from being lost? Is defaultFolder even relevant in this situation?
In my current project, I have to change the default folder at least
temporarily to get the file listing of user selected directories. I am also
making use of linked external stacks. What happens if a call is made to an
external stack while the default folder is not in its "standard location"?
