I have my project set up and looking good in the Revolution environment,
fonts, button depths, etc.

If I double-click the project file outside of Revolution, it opens
independently - without the rest of the Rev UI. However, it looks COMPLETELY
different. Most fonts are 2-4 point sizes larger, buttons and pull downs
have VERY dark borders, scroll bars are filled with BLACK, text that the
fonts have increased in may even overlap their field boundaries.

Since I am developing on the Mac a program designed to be run under Windows,
and I don't even have consistency on the Mac, I'm wondering just what I need
to do to ensure that I get the final look I want. One of the coolest
features of Revolution is the ability to simulate the other UI environment,
but how much can it be trusted if I can't even get the proper look on the
Mac? What should I believe, the "inside the environment look" or the
launched independently" look? If it's the latter, then I will be forced to
develop something in the Rev UI that looks not at all like I'm intending the
final product to look... And therefore what would be the point?

Thoughts, opinions, and additional experiences welcomed.
