To be precise, set the filetype global property to the 8 characters
which comprise the 4 character filetype code and the 4-character
creator code. (Erm - which way around should it be?)
Here, assuming Word 98 is the app version in question, the filetype
code is W8BN, and the creator code is MSWD. But good luck actually
comprehending the Word file format for anything bar simple stuff! :-)
