You weren't dreaming but you may have been reading the release notes for
the current beta of MetaCard 2.4, which supports the imageSource property
for field characters (you substitute an image for a single character).
Revolution 1.1 will have this feature, and you can try it out in the alpha.
1.0 does not support it, though.
