I have one that's a variation on the theme that I'd be glad to send along
if you're interested. Unfortunately, it's not where I am, so I can't
access it right now. I actually use two Find routines: Find and Find
Again. It relies on some globals to set colors and store the user text
string. The basic Find routine uses a dialog to request the text string,
the text string is stored in a global, and the remaining script runs
through a field. If the string is found, it highlights it with color and
change of font appearance. If the strong is not found, it displays a
dialog stating that. The Find Again routine takes the stored string and
runs through the same Find routine. The user simply clicks "Find Again" to
run through the entire field.
Let me know if this is something you're interested in. I wrote it about a
year ago and haven't tested it thoroughly with the Rev 1.0, but the bones
of the scripts should be sound.
