Very specifically, I am working on a presentation of a large number of small
images, for th moment, in grayscale, and I have run into the 10 line limit.
I have spent months trying to figure out answers, but my knowledge is too
limited, or my project is too ambitious.

I want to place 6 small pictures along the top of a card, and then display
one at a time larger by clicking on it. Then when I click on another, I
would like to replace the large image with this new one and to have the
previous one go back to its place in the row. If this can be done with a
"move to" feel, it would be more elegant.

Then I want each small picture on "mouse enter" to display it the base of
the card, two fields of text (or one field with two styles of text). On
mouse exit" the text field goes away, whereas on "mouse down" it is shown
together with the larger version of the picture.

Also I need another field where I can identify each picture or picture set
by a numbering system as they are shown. ( Act 1; Scene 1; Shot 1 to 6)
Typing in a new set of numbers should take one to he appropriate card.

Finally I would like to go to the next set of 6 pictures or back to the
previous set, probably a new card. It would be even nicer if I could have an
option to feed in new pictures from the left or the right outfield by simply
moving the mouse over the an edge inside the card.

As you can see, this is a pretty sophisticated tool, and as I say, it might
be too much for an amateur. (I am an artist, and I have written a script in
the best way I know, by drawing it in storyboard form, roundabout 600
drawings. Now I would like to present it.)

With my nonexistent programming skills I have gotten tantalisingly close to
my intentions. With some help, who knows? the sky is the limit. I won't post
any of my scripts for now, they would be embarassing and superflous, but if
any of you could make something from my scripting "style", I shall gladly do
so.

I know that you are all very willing to help, and I thank you for that. So
here is a little something to gnaw on, and remember: 10 lines!

If anybody wants to email me directtly, that is fine, but I thought it might
be nice to have a kind of "real life tutorial", where other Starters could
learn with me.

With thanks,

Ryno.
