Hello everyone. :-)

We all wish Ben the best of luck for his choice to change his
cyberposture for which he is now making for himself. We are sorry to
see him leave the top spot for our Useful-Things list. I know we
will all miss him greatly. He built the Useful-Things list into a
high quality publication that always had very useful and essential
freeware programs for all of us to have.

With Ben's blessings, the Useful-Things mailing list will move from
an ASHLists.org Affiliates list to an ASHLists.org mailing list and
continue with myself and Dennis Cummins as new co-owners.
Subscribers need not do anything as everything will remain the same
for you. :-)

Dennis and I will have separate and specific responsibilities for our
list. Dennis will be responsible for finding, testing and reviewing
the freeware that we feature in each issue. My responsibility will
be in the publication, distribution and administration of your
newsletter each week.

Dennis has a lot of experience working with Windows programs. He
currently serves as a beta tester for the Pegasus mailer and the PC
Magazine Utilities. He has been a past beta tester for WinZip as
well as numerous other programs. He often works with emerging
software developers in testing out their new programs. If you use
the Pegasus PGP Plugin, "QDPGP", you can see Mr. Cummins' name in the
Help file with the author's acknowledgement of his services in
helping to develop that program. He also has a very good handle on
Windows' systems. I know...I have have to run to him for help all
the time! :-)

And me?...ever the quintessential listowner. :-)

You can all update your Welcome letters now by sending for a new
INTRO file:

So stay tuned everyone. Next weekend (probably Sunday) we will have
a Useful-Thing for your consideration.

See you all then and thank you! :-)
